Great company. This is an awesome company.
My mother is bedridden & I pretty much have to order things she needs online and I would just like to say we have the Absolute BEST Fedex driver. She has had to deliver heavy boxes as I buy in bulk many times and she is so patient and yall need to be aware that she is an excellent employee! Please let her know the job she is doing is above & beyond customer friendly. I'm not sure of her name or I would post it but we live in Ringgold, Ga so yall know who she is but upon me thanking her she said "That's my job & I'm glad to help" Thank you ma'am P. Fraley
I am a medical research examiner and ship my blood specimens almost daily at the FedEx Office location on 95th & Cicero in Oak Lawn - yesterday I was running late processing my shipment and Mark the FedEx Express driver was about to leave when I asked him if he could wait 5mins for my blood - without hesitation Mark agreed to wait - he smiled and said "oh that's blood, that's important" the world needs more people like Mark!
I usually have to leave a negative review but when they get it right I will leave positive review. FedEx got it all right this time. Package arrived 2 days early, package was not damaged and they delivered to the right address. And were respectful to my property. Thanks FedEx
I am writing this review in gratitude for the urgent problem solving engaged with by the CEO Mr Alun Cornish and Mr Matthew Townsend of the executive. With their willingness and capacity to take time and ownership of redelivering a passport which had been sent to the wrong address - wrong city, and with the coordinated support of a network of their colleagues they managed to correct the problem before it became unfixable with great personal cost to me. For me this is a gold standard exemplar of how executive problem solving looks. In a world of scale systems with complex problems it is people like these who make life workable and a world worth living in. Increasingly we are seeing a depersonalised and automated society which brings with it problems that are systems problems, many are 'strange loops' as Douglas Hofstadter identifys them. It is only with clarity of thought and intelligent action that such issues can be addressed. My hat is off to them for taking the time and care to take ownership, and having the skills to coordinate a successful resolution. My thanks also extend to the problem solver Rachel 'x' at Her Majestys Passport Office for working the other side of the juncture, identifying the clerical error and using her proficient agency to enable the Fedex team to piece a response together. I am worried about the state of the world in terms of the arrangements used to organise it. Gillian Tett in her book The Silo Effect gives pristine examples of intractable problems which come from fractured, siloed systems. It is only by working across divides and boundaries that I have ever seen practical solutions come about. Again, my respects go to the CEO and the executive for making this happen.
They have great Great customer service. I put in the wrong apt number and they quickly helped me track down my package.
