I spoke to a call advisor called Ryan, he was phenomenal his customer service was exceptional, I have been a sky VIP customer for many years now and spoken to various advisors and there are only a handful of advisors who have actually been helpful, listened and done the best of their ability! He was true to his word I requested a call back on the Friday after 16:00 and that’s exactly what he did. It was a pleasure speaking with Ryan he was so helpful! Ryan is an asset to the Sky team I believe he’s from up North (Leeds) he deserves a pay rise or a great commission structure as he doesn’t feel like a hard sale. I have SKY sim only mobile deals for myself and my wife. I have changed my iPhone to a Google Pixel 6 but unfortunately I can not get 4G or WIFI calling on this new phone as I used to on my iPhone, my wife has an iPhone 7 and gets WIFI calling OK. The SKY representative said it was down to Google and not SKY that I can not receive these services. How wrong he was. I have talked to a friend of mine who is with another provider and he gets 4G/WIFI calling on his Pixel phone. I am now thinking of leaving SKY mobile and going to another provider who can give up to date services. I do have SKY Q and SKY broadband and have found them to be exerlant, though both will be coming to the end of contracts in the next few months, SKY Q will go as I don't get full use out of it but will try and do a new deal for broadband Overall I have always found SKY customer representatives very helpful and friendly. The only reason I am given 4 stars is because of the mobile service not being up modern standards. .
We have been experiencing a problem with our Sky Glass since set up, the pin number has not worked, we have been speaking to Sky over the last 4 weeks without a fix, spoke to a chap called Jordan today who talked us through a factory reset and all is working, Thank you Jordan for being so helpful even assisted us with our Ultra HD settings so our viewing picture is even better which we had no idea about. Against the backdrop of poor reviews I am writing a positive review about Sky TV customer service. I have been a Sky customer for 22 years and large, neighbouring, deciduous trees often cause problems with HD reception during summer months. This year, TV reception has been particularly worse affecting non HD channels during windy or wet weather. Sky Customer service has been relentless in resolving the problem. Engineers have tried numerous options and recently engineers, John and Jay, solved the problem by repositioning the dish at the end of our garden. This involved a significant amount of time researching the best position for the dish and the installation of new wiring which was neatly and expertly done. Reception for all channels has been excellent since. Well done Sky.
